My start in theatre goes back to childhood when I studied ballet with Ella Dagonova in a studio next to the old Carnegie Hall.  It seems I carry with me her teaching as I move through life.

During the Vietnam War I was part of a street theatre group out of Chicago, Rapid Transit. We toured colleges throughout the Midwest.

In 1970 I returned to New York, and Jeriann Hilderley and I started an all women's theatre group, Painted Women Ritual Theatre, creating plays through improvisation.

I have been writing my whole life, and when I wanted to get back into theatre it was natural that I would do so as a writer. And that is what I am doing now, living in Marshfield Vermont with my dogs, Shiro and Holly, and writing plays.

I am a member of New Play Exchange and my plays can be found on that site.
